Three questions. Then see your matches.
We ask for your ZIP code, whether you currently have coverage, and whether you own your home. Nothing that identifies you.
Question 1 of 3
What’s your ZIP code?
Advertiser disclosure. We may be compensated when you connect with a provider through this site. This affects which options appear and where, but not our editorial assessments. How we make money
Why these three questions
ZIP code decides almost everything. Auto insurance is regulated state by state: minimum liability limits, whether the state is at-fault or no-fault, and even whether a carrier may use a credit-based insurance score are all set locally. Which carriers are licensed where you live narrows the field before anything else does.
Whether you’re insured today matters because continuous coverage is itself a rating factor. A driver shopping from an active policy and a driver with a lapse are priced differently by most carriers, and they are worth showing different options.
Whether you own your home opens up multi-policy options. Bundling is not automatically cheaper, but it changes what you get offered often enough to be worth asking.
What we don’t ask for
No name, no email address, no phone number. If you decide a provider is worth talking to, you share your details with them directly and on your own terms. That is a deliberate design choice, not a limitation.
