Who we are

QuoteMatchPros operates quotematchpros.com. We are a free insurance comparison and marketing service. We are not an insurance company, agency, broker, or provider, and we do not sell insurance. This policy explains what we do with information collected through this site.

What we collect

Information you give us

• ZIP code — used to determine your state and which providers are licensed there.
• Whether you currently have auto insurance — a yes/no answer.
• Whether you own your home — a yes/no answer.

That is the entire set of questions this site asks. We do not collect your name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, driver’s licence number, vehicle identification number, or payment details anywhere on this site.

Information collected automatically

• Advertising click identifiers passed by the platform that referred you (for example a Meta, TikTok, Google, or Microsoft click ID) and campaign parameters such as utm_source and utm_campaign.
• A first-party identifier we generate, stored in your browser’s local storage and in a first-party cookie for 90 days. It lets us connect an advertising click to a later conversion so we can measure which campaigns work. It is a random string and is not derived from anything about you.
• Advertising cookies set by Meta’s pixel where it is active (_fbp and _fbc).
• Technical request data — IP address, user agent, referring URL, and timestamp.

Why we collect it

• To determine which licensed providers are relevant to you and route you to them.
• To measure advertising performance, including reporting conversions back to the advertising platforms that sent you here.
• To detect fraud and abuse, and to keep the service working.

Who we share it with

Providers and marketing partners. When you complete the questions and continue, we pass your ZIP code, state, and your two yes/no answers to the partner whose page you are continuing to. What that partner does with information you subsequently give them directly is governed by their own privacy policy, not this one. Read it before you give them your contact details.

Advertising platforms. We report conversion events back to the platform that referred you, using the click identifier and cookie values described above. These events tell the platform that a click resulted in a conversion and what it was worth. They do not include your answers.

Service providers. Hosting and infrastructure vendors that process data on our behalf under contract.

Legal. Where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We do not sell your information for money.

How long we keep it

Click records are retained for 45 days and then deleted automatically. That window exists because a conversion can be confirmed or refused by a partner up to 14 days after the fact, and we need to be able to match the two. Aggregate, non-identifying performance figures are kept longer.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to have it deleted, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise any of these, email support@quotematchpros.com or use our Do not sell or share page.

Global Privacy Control. This site detects and honours the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or extension sends it, we treat it as an opt-out of sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising for that browser, without you having to fill in anything. See Do not sell or share for exactly what changes.

Cookies. You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop the site working.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and will revise the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the page itself.
